Creating Value that Strikes a Chord with Customers
Sunstar commenced operations in 1941 as a manufacturer and seller of rubber adhesives for bicycles. Operations soon expanded to include the health industry, beginning with the manufacture and sales of toothpaste, and have since expanded utilizing its unique operations and core technologies. Today, at the dawn of the 21st century, Sunstar has emerged as a company that fosters health, beauty, safety, and comfort through its products and services, in terms of both internal and external well-being, and has expanded into a global organization with the functions of overall management located in Switzerland, conducting business through operating companies and offices in the four key hubs of Japan, Europe, North America and Asia.

By incorporating into all of its corporate activities, the motto of “Striving always to enhance the health and well-being of people everywhere,” Sunstar’s mission of providing attractive products and services that realize its customers’ dreams has remained unchanged since the company was established.

To continue being an enterprise that pursues being “ One and Only in Uniqueness” - not only for products, but also in every aspect of management and in its operations in approximately 70 countries throughout the world - Sunstar group employees will continue to exert every possible effort, as a unified force, to provide unique and desirable products to customers everywhere.
